From our experience we know that it is not easy for our customers to evaluate what risks are insured. There are remarkable differences between the insurance products on the market. Hereafter please find some outstanding qualities of the Pantaenius Cover:

• No deductible in case of total loss, burglary, loss or damage due to fire, lightning, loss or damage to personal effects and loss or damage solely attributable to the negligence of a third party colliding with the insured vessel while it is stationary.
• Full machinery clause that covers all machinery and hydraulic winches and engines and also against damages through mishandling and/or wrong operating from the CREW!
• Sinking of the yacht is always covered - even if the water is coming in the vessel through rainfall and the ship is slowly sinking, as it is out of commission, this would be covered. Or water is dripping in slowly through a broken or rotten jubilee clam and the vessel sinks or has damage as a result of that - it is covered.
• Damages resulting from grounding or collision with floating objects (flotsam) are insured - including damages to the propellers and the rudder.
• We have no exclusion for "sea unworthiness". In fact we do not have this term in our clauses at all, as it is a "rubber" term that can not be defined clearly! Under UK jurisdiction you have always "sea unworthiness" even if it is not mentioned in the clauses.
• Salvage and wreck removal costs are covered without limitation in addition to the Agreed Fixed Value.
• Partial damages will be regulated up to the agreed sum insured. Replacement costs for any new parts, that are necessary for the repair, will be reimbursed without any deductions (new for old)
• Our liability concept covers also crew and guest liabilities among themselves - this is unique.
